Current special exhibition
‘I'm not allowed to fly any more! I should give up my car! And I can't eat meat anymore either?’ – Actually, climate protection is not about doing without, but about swapping old habits for new possibilities.
Scientists at ETH Zurich are conducting research into technologies that will help us make a good life possible for everyone – even in the future. These include solar fuel for flying, renewable energy for driving cars or meat from cell culture instead of factory farming.
Our new exhibition ‘KEEP IT CO₂OL – Tech to the rescue?’ shows where we stand – and what we stand to gain. It brings research, politics, business and society into dialogue. Because reducing CO₂ does not mean living less – it means working together to maintain a better quality of life for everyone.
The future is created when technological progress and social change come together.
